PARTIAL CLUB CONTEST RULES
PRINTS & SLIDES
(Rules on Entry Forms Also)
1) Any member of the North Jeffco Camera Club (NJCC) may submit prints or slides into monthly competitions. Entry forms for prints and slides can be found on at links on the bottom of this page our under the "Members Only" page. Entry forms may also be obtained at the meeting.
2) All images must be the original creation of the individual submitting the image.
3) Instructions for Prints
a) A print may be no smaller than 8x10 not counting a mat. If a print is to go to Council competition, it can be no smaller than 11x14 including a mat.
b) A print plus mat may be no larger than 16x20
c) On the back of the print, clearly label the name of the maker, the name of the image, the status of the image (altered or unaltered), and the club name (NJCC). See sample at bottom of print entry form.
d) No prints with glass or frames are allowed.
e) The name of the maker may not show on the front of the print.
4) Instructions for Slides
a) The slide mount must be capable of being inserted into a standard carousel tray.
b) Hold the slide as you want it to be projected. Mark the lower left corner with a large dot. Turn the slide upside down and put the name of the image at the top. Put your name on the bottom. Put the club name (NJCC) and the status A or UA (altered or unaltered) on the sides. See sample at bottom of slide entry form.
5) A competition may be OPEN or have an ASSIGNED topic, such as flowers. This info will be posted in the newsletter.
6) Images may be entered into 3 different categories. The categories are:
a) B&W prints
b) Colored prints
c) Slides (color and B&W)
7) Color and B&W prints will be judged separately in both the Open and Assigned competitions.
8) Color and B&W Slides will be judged together in both the Open and Assigned competitions
9) OPEN COMPETITION (Only for Meetings that are Open Only)
a) Each member may enter up to 4 images in any combination in any category.
Example: 1 entry B&W Prints
2 entries in Color Prints
1 entry in Slides
10) ASSIGNED COMPETITION (Only for Meetings that are both Open and Assigned)
a) Each member may enter 2 images in assigned, and 2 images in the open competition.
b) Images may be in any category
c) An Open competition will be held after the Assigned competitions.
11) The title of all images will be announced during competition.
12) Any image that places 1st, 2nd or 3rd, may NOT be reentered in any future monthly competitions.

¥ PRESENT ENTRY AND FORM TO THE PRINT CHAIRMAN PRIOR TO START OF MEETING.
